The Crossroads

There’s no neighborhood like the Crossroads. Packed with converted warehouses and brick-lined streets, The Refinery is only steps from galleries, restaurants, shops, and shows others have to travel for. To most, it’s a destination. For residents, it’s their backyard.

Galleries Around the Corner

Some of the city's best galleries are close enough to visit before your coffee gets cold. Leedy-Voulkos and Sherry Leedy are a three-minute walk, Belger Arts is right behind them, and Penn Valley Park is an easy stroll when you want more room to roam.

Dinners, Drinks, First Fridays

The Refinery sits inside a neighborhood built for going out. Extra Virgin and Anjin are just a few minutes from your door, Tom's Town Distilling and Ted's Taproom are an easy walk for a nightcap, and on the first Friday of every month the whole Crossroads turns into a gallery walk, with studios and street vendors taking over the block.

Streetcar at Your Door

From your morning commute to dinner and a night out, The Refinery puts you in the heart of Kansas City's business and entertainment scene. The KC Streetcar stops right across the street, connecting you to the River Market, Riverfront, Midtown, the Plaza, and UMKC, all for free. Union Station and Amtrak connections are nearby, while easy access to Interstates 35 and 70 makes getting beyond the neighborhood just as convenient.
